Join us this summer as we take a team to work with local agencies in Kigali and Butare. Our work will include such things as running children’s programs, working in a refugee camp, visiting vocational programs for widows, assisting in construction of housing for widows, teaching English, and partnering with local churches. We will also make ourselves available to serve the needs of local outreaches - which means we’ll roll up our sleeves and get ready to sweat! Hard work is always part of our trips, and the living accommodations are pretty spartan. So if you don’t like roughing it, this trip isn’t for you!
The trip will be roughly 2-3 weeks, and we also plan to set up a computer lab in one of our schools for orphans. Last time we set up a computer lab in their other school using desktops, but they’re so bulky! So this time we are looking for donations of gently used laptop computers for the lab.
